I already joined many walking tours and this one was not the best one to be honest. The starting point is a mall, so first you struggle to find the meeting point, because the mall is big and no other details are given. Once we found Santosh, he didn't say much besides "nice to meet you" and we started the tour with a 20 minutes walk to the Durbar square. We didn't stop once for a sight, so why isn't the meeting point at the Durbar square? That would have been much easier for us. Also he was walking so fast, that the other couple with a baby struggled to keep up with the pace and we felt bad for them, but he didn't really notice. At the Durbar square he said that we already passed the traditional market, but we didn't notice, because we were busy rushing. He gave us some information there, which was nice. However, his English pronunciation made it hard for us to understand, so we only understood like 70% of his words. In the end we decided to leave after 2 hours, because the second stop would have been another 15 minutes taxi ride away and we couldn't really enjoy the tour. Still, don't let my review stop you from booking the tour, it was still worth it and Santosh is a nice guy.

The walk was amazing!! Highly recommend. Santosh spent the whole afternoon sharing information on Nepalese culture and Kathmandu. I wouldn’t have learned nearly as much had I gone by myself to these sites.
