Hello people from all over the Wolrd! I'm Etele and my tour guide nickname is E.T. (lik the alien from the movie, haha) I'm local, born and raised here in Budapest. I just love my city, there are so many things to do and see here. I started my tour guide carrier with general walking tour and now I started to do street art tours also. Street is is a very special and unique way to get to know a new city. It's more up-to-date. The arts are reflected on current situations and problems. It helps you to slow down and learn a new way to learn, You should come and see, you wont regreg it! See you son! Best, E.T.
Dear Future Guest,
In this fast-paced world where everyone is in a hurry, we often cross streets without taking a moment to appreciate the hidden gems surrounding us. During this tour, we are slowing down to discover the art of local and global street artists.
No two street art tours are the same, as the streets and walls are alive, constantly changing. Each piece of art carries meaning; some convey social or political messages, while others serve as decorations or something entirely different.
Throughout this 2-hour tour, we will delve into various topics such as Hungarian culture, recent history, and, of course, many street arts. After this experience, you will view the streets in a new light – I might just change your life!
Please note that there is a limit of 12 guests to ensure a slow and enjoyable stroll through the narrow streets. So, I hope to see you there! This interactive tour is also perfect for families.
Additionally:
And yes, it's a free tour, or let's say you determine the price :)
At the end, your tip helps support local people. :P
There is a cool bar called "Központ Budapest" (address: Madách Imre út 5, 1075). I will be there like 10 minues before we start, so if you like to have a coffee you are more than welcome to join :)
Free tours do not have a set price, instead, each person gives the guru at the end of the tour the amount that he or she considers appropriate (these usually range from €10 to $50 depending on satisfaction with the tour).
