Free Tour Quito from another perspective!

In the bowels of the Andes, surrounded by mountains, is the largest and best preserved historic center in all of South America. In sight of everyone, but at the same time imperceptible, the city jealously keeps to itself several of its secrets that will be opened to you during this tour.

I am Mauricio, a certified tour guide, also a musical manager and custodian of the traditions and culture of Ecuador. It will be a pleasure to share my experiences with you!

During our walking tour we will visit the most emblematic places of the Historic Center of Quito, such as: Squares, churches, monasteries and logically the Central Market with its flavors and colors of the town. The historical facts with their dates, legends and myths are part of this tour , the same ones that will be put for your consideration along with the history little or nothing told in the books.

What places will we visit?

  • The street of 7 Crosses
  • The church of the Company of Jesus
  • Ronda Street
  • The Plaza and church of San Francisco

After this tour we could continue to the Middle of the World, but that is another story.😉

Guiding since 2022
I am a National Guide of Ecuador, I live in Quito, I have been doing this activity for 15 years and I have traveled throughout Ecuador. I dedicate myself 100% to this activity; I have extensive knowledge of the country's tourist places, including the Galapagos Islands. Which allows me to have contacts throughout the provinces. A place that I especially love is the Puyo jungle, a place located 4'30 hours from Quito, and which I recommend visiting to those people who want to get to know the jungle and do not have much time to do so.
