Tour description

Tbilisi is a charming town built in the 5th century along the twisting valley of the Mtkvari River. Discover the ancient culture of Tbilisi, the city which‌, despite numerous invasions, hasn't lost its unique traditions.
Walking along Rustaveli Avenue, in the shadow of old cedar trees, we will make you feel the captivating spirit of Tbilisi. Also, we’ll stroll along the Shardeni street full of bars, clubs, and boutiques. We’ll visit the 13th-century beautiful Metekhi church. The viewing platform in front of the church will offer you breathtaking, the most scenic views of the Old Tbilisi, in particular, you’ll admire the Narikala Fortress, the most famous and ancient monument of Tbilisi antiquity, locals call it the "Soul of the City."
At the end of our walking tour, we will walk along the Bathhouse district known as Abanotubani.

I have been to maaaany free walking tours… and believe me, this one definitely one of the best ones ever. It covered everything: religion, politics, history, culture, Georgia of today, food & customs and the best part: it was a lot of fun. Thank you Giorgi, you reeeally know what you are doing and I can only recommend this tour to anyone!

Very interesting visit of Tbilisi. Georgi is very knowledgeable about his city and a very nice person. The tour went from the "modern town" to the old parts. I recommend it to have a first insight of the capital.
