The Diamond in the rough! I have been on many walking tours around the world, but I would say my most pleasant tour guide I've ever had was Diamond. She is a breath of fresh air and as sweet as her Hershey's kisses. She was very well spoken and excited to share history, and information about city of brotherly love. Diamond's tour path was perfect and never had a dull moment. She always was smiling and had time to answer our questions, I even texted her days after and she helped my find the things I was looking for. She never mixed politics or opinions on the historical information she provided for us on the tour, this alone was my favorite thing about the tour. Most guides around the USA try to push their opinions on all their information. If you're looking for a fun and informative tour of the downtown this is the only tour you should take.

Diamond was excellent

I did 20+ free tours in many different countries. This was one of the best free tours I did! Enthusiastic, perfect mix of history and fun facts, nice itenerary with a good balance between most important sites and off the beaten track!

Thomas gave our group an absolutely phenomenal introduction to Historic Philadelphia! His depth of knowledge was incredibly impressive, and he brought the city's history to life. What really set Thomas apart, was how attentive and engaging he was as a guide. He was constantly checking on the group to make sure everyone was comfortable. He actively asked the audience questions, which made the tour feel interactive and fun.

The tour was the highlight of the trip. Tom went above and beyond to ensure every person had a wonderful experience. On such a hot day, he even packed fruit and herb infused cold water for the group! He was a wealth of knowledge, appreciated his willingness to share with the group.

Tom was amazing today. He has a lot of knowledge about History ( he is a full time history teacher ) very passionate and patient, it was a lot going on in the city today with 4th of July celebrations and soccer World Cup going on in the same time, plus 99 degrees Fahrenheit weather at 10:00am today, he made the tour very pleasant and fun

Informative and charming

He really gets you to feel his passion for history and clearly really cares just as much about the content as he does for the travellers. My family was sceptical but were ultimately thrilled with the tour.

Thomas is very knowledgeable about the history of our country and specifically about Philadelphia. He artistically speaks about founding fathers of America, declaration of freedom, our Constitution. Thomas (tom) was a great guide! He gave us so much info, and took us many places. He’s a middle school history teacher so he knew how to make it fun and informative. He also gave suggestions for lunch after the tour. Overall great experience!
