Art Tour: History and Local Culture through Art

A worthwhile introduction to this intriguing city! We also appreciated getting to ride a funicular and gaining insight into the various artists’ styles.

This tour with Camilo was super informative and I learned a lot about the artists of Valpo, the backgrounds of their art works, the connections with the history of the city and the country. Together with some amazing visits of galleries and the connections Camilo has, it was a super pleasant experience. He knows many artists and gallery makers personally, what gives a nice inside. As well he knows all the neighbourhoods very well so you start to see other stories at the walls and on the streets. Thanks for this great art walk. I can highly recommend it!

This has to be one of the best tours we have ever been on. Valparaíso is the most beautiful place and Camilo an excellent guide. Took us to the most beautiful spots and we had so much fun. Definitely recommended when in Valparaíso.

Camilo’s tour was great and greatly exceeded our expectations! The whole time, he was very informative and thorough in telling us about history and street art while also being engaging. He was very receptive to questions, and showed us several small art galleries/ shops in which he personally knew the artists. Camilo also showed a good sense of enthusiasm about the topics he was teaching, and led us up one gondola and down two slides in the town.
