Welcome to Saladin Citadel tour, one of the most interesting places in Cairo!


My place has always been Saladin Citadel (you will find me after the entry gate) so I know everything about the citadel of Saladin to take you on tour around different places in the castle area like:

  • Mohamed Ali mosque
  • The prison of the citadel for political prisoners
  • The fantastic panorama view of the old city
  • The Mosque of El Naser Mohamed Ebn Qaloun (Is the oldest one there)
  • Solyman Pasha mosque 
  • Many stories about battles and massacres inside 


I will give you knowledge and historical information about everything

Please note that

- The tour excludes the entrance fees to the Citadel area.
- The entrance fees ticket for Citadel of Saladin area cost 550 EGP and for students 275 EGP (accept only credit card)
-  The dress code for the women to enter the mosques is must be covering the shoulders and legs . Otherwise women visitors will be asked to purchase or rent a scarf for shoulders.
