Discover Tetouan and the charm of its Medina with Ali.
We will begin in the center of the city in the Plaza Muley Mehdi, called the Ensanche, we will continue through the Melah or Jewish quarter of the 19th century and we will enter through one of the seven doors that the wall of the old medina has, there we will begin to enjoy the alleys and labyrinths that the old medina has.
We will enjoy seeing the locals selling their products from the countryside, we will see stalls selling spices, olives and other products from the area with their captivating colors and aromas.
We will visit the 15th century Teneria and the famous artisans' neighborhood called Jarrazin, there we will see how leather and wool are worked and the wonderful products that the artisans work with,
We will pass through the Mexuar, the old noble part of the medina to see the majestic Moorish houses inside, passing by the oldest mosque in the medina that dates back to the 16th century.
We will continue our walk through the alleys to enjoy their charm and we will finish in the gold neighborhood also called Tarrafin.
