Citizen of the world, Chilean living in Lisbon. Journalist, lover of travel, landscapes, history and anecdotes. Flavors and aromas remain in my memories when I travel. Lover of meeting new experiences and people in each place I visit. I want to convey this to my dear tourist friends who visit Lisbon.
Hello everyone, I am Dani from Chile and an official guide living almost 4 years in Lisbon, Portugal.
My tours are mainly focused on Spanish-speaking tourists, where the tour that I will present to you focuses especially on knowing part of the history of Portugal and on corners that speak of what the Portuguese are like with their personality and their works.
We will meet in Rossio Square or Dom Pedro IV Square, in Baixa Pombalina , to then continue to the Iglesia Maldita, through Figueira Square and enter one of the typical Muslim neighborhoods such as Mouraria.
We continue through viewpoints, corners and the Castillo San Jorg e. Then we will move to the oldest house in Lisbon, to get lost in the narrow streets of Alfama. They will learn the terrible stories of the great Lisbon earthquake , as well as the origins of Fado and the Carnation Revolution.
During an entertaining walk of 2 hours and a half, we will drink Ginginha, a typical Portuguese liquor .
I invite you to live this experience with me and learn about the history of Portugal, know its corners and secrets to have an incredible visit to the city of Lisbon.
I will be waiting for you at the Doña María II National Theater, in front of Rossio Square, I will be with a red and white umbrella
Free tours do not have a set price, instead, each person gives the guru at the end of the tour the amount that he or she considers appropriate (these usually range from €10 to $50 depending on satisfaction with the tour).
