Free walking tour of English Civil War Sites in London!

Fantastic walking tour, loads of interesting facts and Ben was very knowledgeable and friendly. Would highly recommend this tour to anyone with an interest in history :)

Apart from the place of execution of Charles there are not many historic sights in London for the Civil War. Ben however makes the story come alive with his knowledge and reflections on the importance of this period of UK history. Less a walking tour, more a lecture/workshop on the move. Highly recommended if you want to learn something.

It is a great historic tour, very immersive even though not a lot of sights directly related to the English Civil Was are located in London. Somehow, I was mostly impressed/terrified/mesmerized by the idea that twice every day on my way to and from the office I pass below the Banqueting House on Whitehall, where at the first floor level they built the scaffold and beheaded Charles I in January 1649.
