Love meeting new people to create memories and establish long lasting impressions and friendships. I go by this saying “People may not remember what you did for them, but they remember how you made them feel”

Tour description

Welcome to Kuala Lumpur!

One of the most beautifully diversified cities in Asia. Located in Malaysia, it is home to some great history, rustic pre-war structures, and monuments that we will be having a glimpse and glance at during the tour.

On the itinerary of our walk tour, we will visit some of the main highlights of the city, such as:

  • Tugu Negara
  • Dataran Merdeka
  • River Of Life
  • Central Market
  • Chinatown

During our walk tour, I would be obliged to do the best of my ability to respond to all of your questions. It would also be my privilege to share my experience with you the various cultures, traditions, and social norms of the country as well as the hidden gems (eateries) that some locals may not even be familiar of :)

In a nutshell, our tour starts from Tugu Negara(Persiaran Sultan Salahuddin) and ends in Chinatown.

Before signing up, please note that this tour has got much to do with facts, history, and stories. If you seek for a tour that covers more stops to places of interest and more of a “Sights and Sounds” kind of tour, then this tour MAY NOT be what you are seeking.

Join me and let’s have a great time together and if possible, create fond memories in our very own little way!

Ian was one of the best walking tour guides we have ever had! Every city we travel to we try to go on a walking tour and Ian is at the top of the list of best tour guides. His energy and enthusiasm is unmatched. He included the group and encouraged participation during his stories. Ian was able to make learning of Malaysia history fun and interactive. His passion for teaching and explaining the culture was obvious. While the walking tour is longer than most, it doesn't feel that way. We also had a break where we were able to order a fantastic lunch and a local lunch spot. I highly encourage you to book Ian as your walking tour. You will not be disappointed. It was one of the highlights of our time in Kuala Lumpur.

Ian was really knowledgeable, his storytelling was on point. He walked us through the main points of the Malaysian culture, last 100 years history and even a bit of geography. Tour was well prepared and the pace was good. Our entire group was hungry during the break, so we took unexpected break to eat, Ian helped us order and was flexible to accommodate for a bit longer sit. Be sure to bring a lot of (cold) water with you, it gets hot. Really 12/10 experience, highly recommend:)
