Stone Town historical walking tour will take 2 hours and sometimes can take more or fewer hours.
When two hours we will be visiting about 20 stops such as:
1-Old fort
2- House of Wonders,
3-Sultan palace,
4-Old customs building,
5- Narrow streets,
6-Zanzibar Anglo war (between Zanzibaris and the British)
7-spice market,
8-Slave market,( slave chamber and monument)
9-Zanzibar cosmopolitan gathering,
10- fascinated with Zanzibar door
11-You get to know different architectures
and much more.
Also the history of the Portuguese, Arabs, and British all of these you will know in-deep with their histories and events.
The tour starts at the old fort and ends with the Freddie mercury museum.
I will be by podium in Forodhani garden with yellow T.shirt or green shirt are my uniforms. Normally I like to put on black cap.
Free tours do not have a set price, instead, each person gives the guru at the end of the tour the amount that he or she considers appropriate (these usually range from €10 to $50 depending on satisfaction with the tour).
