I am Oriol and I am a Historian from the University of Barcelona and I have previously worked for 20 years in the entertainment sector in the tourism sector in different hotels on the Spanish coast. I have recently completed a Barcelona guide course at the Catalunya Higher School of Tourism which is located in the old town of Barcelona. I am passionate about history and I am passionate about showing it in an entertaining and fun way. I am Augusto and I am a Local Guide in Barcelona from the Barcelona Higher School of Tourism. I have been in entertainment within the tourism sector for two decades, directing shows in hotels and campsites nationwide and I have studies in management and dramatic art. 1. Why take a route?
One of the reasons for doing this route is because it has always been a very silenced topic in our history, which has passed a lot on tiptoe in our educational system and it can be a good opportunity to learn about what our previous generations like our parents or our children went through. grandparents, in a period where they fought to achieve many freedoms, but unfortunately many were also lost, until reaching the democratic transition.
This route explains one of the most violent periods in our contemporary history. The itinerary aims to explain the events that happened in the heart of Barcelona in the Spanish Civil War.
