Amsterdam City Tour by a Local - How the Dutch live and eat
My name is Olmo and I am Dutchman. Tourism has been my profession for over 10 years, both in Amsterdam as well as abroad. I have traveled to many wonderful places and I've met people from all kinds of backgrounds and cultures. This has led to adopting the non-Dutch passions of dancing salsa and cooking.
Tour description
Discover Amsterdam in a unique way! Are you ready?
We will be discovering 3 main parts of Amsterdam: the Old town, the UNESCO listed Canals and the area Jordaan. Besides that, I will share you loads of insider stories about the habits of the Dutch, including food and drinks, bicycles ending up in the canals and many more.
We will be wandering for about 1:45 - 2:00 hours through the center, where I will be answering all your questions and share numerous stories about the city. Without spending too much time on the history of our country, I will certainly cover the most relevant parts of it (to the city of Amsterdam), I will highlight the impact WO II has had and I will highlight several insights on the architecture seen around the city.
As I'm a true Dutchman, I have got many recommendations for you, both for the city of Amsterdam as other parts of the country (and even potentially for your next destination, if applicable).
The languages I speak besides English and Dutch are Spanish and German.
Do we see us soon?
Best, Olmo
