Guided tour along the Cali Riverbank from the Jairo Varela Square to the La Tertulia Museum, a blend of nature and contemporary art
Welcome to Cali, the branch of heaven! We will begin our tour at the Jairo Varela Square, a space dedicated to the renowned salsa musician and composer. Here you can enjoy live music and appreciate the urban art that adorns the place.
We will continue our journey along Paseo Bolívar, a lively and colorful pedestrian avenue. You will find shops, restaurants, and marvel at the statues of historical figures that adorn this street.
Next, we will head to the River Boulevard, a beautiful green space on the banks of the Cali River. Here you can enjoy and admire the surrounding nature.
Now we will head to Calle de la Escopeta, known for its colonial architecture and colorful facades. I will tell you interesting stories about this place as we stroll through its cobblestone streets.
Our next destination is the Casa Solar del Río, where the city's tourism office operates, and we will visit the tourist information point PIT.
We will continue to El Gato del Río, an iconic sculpture representing the local fauna and has become a symbol of the city. Don't forget to take photos with this giant feline.
Then we will head to the Casa Obeso Mejía, a beautiful Republican-style mansion that houses a museum dedicated to the history and culture of Cali. Here you can learn about our historical and artistic wealth.
