Explore the historical city of Ghent from a unique perspective: how did prostitution flourish in the medieval city, starting from the "Stoofstraatje" to today's modern "Glazen straatje"?
We'll follow a route through the city that will take you through the centuries. You'll be introduced to prostitutes and brothel owners who will come to life for you from the city's archives in this tour. You'll gain an authentic insight into the underbelly of society through time in this vibrant city.

The tour begins at the Korenlei in front of the Marriott Hotel and continues to the Schepenvijverstraat. Along the way, feel free to ask your guide any questions that come to mind – they are well-versed in the themes of this world.

Bekijk de historische stad Gent vanuit een uniek invalshoek: hoe welig tierde de prostitutie in de middeleeuwse stad vertrekkende vanuit het Stoofstraatje tot het moderne 'Glazen straatje' van vandaag? We leggen een parcours af doorheen de stad dat u zal meevoeren doorheen de eeuwen. U maakt kennis met prostituees en bordeelhouders die voor u uit de archieven van de stad tot leven worden gewekt in deze tour. U krijgt een authentieke inkijk in de onderbuik van de samenleving doorheen de tijd in deze bruisende stad.
De tour vangt aan op de Korenlei voor het Marriott Hotel tot aan de Schepenvijverstraat. Stel onderweg alle vragen die in u opborrelen aan uw gids, die volledige thuis is in de thematiek van deze wereld.
