Free tour Bergen, through the eyes of a local
Hello and welcome to Bergen.
I am Nati the girl with the red hat and I propose culture, heritage, history, legends, curiosities as well as anecdotes with rigor and humor.
A visit to Bergen from a different perspective , through the eyes of a local, away from the most touristic spots without losing an iota of the essence of this interesting city.
A walk through time and through its hundred-year-old streets that will evoke you to another era , to the calm of its old wooden houses, to the hustle and bustle of the cosmopolitan pier, which welcomes all visitors from any corner of the world, to the smells and flavors of its vivid fish market. To the exuberant greens of its mountains, to the crystalline blues of its fjords, to its colorful alleys. Bergen is the story that became a future.
How do locals greet each other? What is your favorite meeting place? Where is the narrowest alley and the oldest bar? Ask the girl in red, she will share many more secrets with you...
She is waiting for you.
Just a tiny clarification about the famous Free Walking Tour.
“Free” doesn’t mean your guide works for free (sadly, my landlord refuses that concept). It simply means you decide the price at the end, based on how much you enjoyed the tour.
On this platform, travelers usually contribute around €15 per person. From there, you’re free to give whatever you feel the tour was worth — more if you loved it, less if you didn’t (though I will of course try my absolute best to earn those €15 😉).
So come along, enjoy the stories, the history, and the walk… and at the end you decide
