Hi, basically, we take care of you! Come be a Bahamian for a day, learn how we live, come listen to our stories I'm Archie a local veteran tour guide new to Guruwalk but on other travel sites as well.  I have a day job but touring is my passion and I'd like to meet you on the weekends if you're in Nassau for an exciting tour . Let me handle your weekend in Nassau, I got you covered. I have have been doing tours since 2019 and decided to offer free tours to visitors. I have countless reviews online and on other travel sites. I'm  offering a free seafood snack along with our tour.  Our tour is in the Downtown Nassau area of Nassau and makes it's way around numerous historical sites and visits. We offer a free Surprise local seafood snack and all we ask is a kind monetary thank you at the end of this 2 and a half hour experience.

The tour starts at Parliament Square next to the Queen Victoria statue. We learn about the British colonial history of The Bahamas, Loyalist, and government of The Bahamas.
Next we take a stroll west along Bay Street to the Christ Church Cathedral to learn about the state church of The Bahamas.
Next is Government House which is the state house of The Bahamas which was completed in 1801. We talk about the government system and also Christopher Columbus.
The world famous Graycliff Resort is next. Graycliff is named after a famous pirate and the property has stood as a hotel since 1844 and has had many owners since then. Rich and famous like Beyonce, Winton Churchill, Patrick Ewing, Sean Connery and more have stayed there. They also have a wine distillery and world class cigars that you get to see made right in front of you.
Next is the John Watlings Distillery which is named after John Watlings, a famous pirate. They make a wonderful rum product that has all the crowd raving.

Tasty Tea shop is also on our tour. Tasty Teas is a local herbal and medicinal tea shop. You can find local teas who the elders have used for years for healing.
The tour completes back at Parliament square for a total of 2 and a half hours.

    We will pass by the Government house of The Bahamas which is the state house similar to the White House in America. Standing since 1737 we will discuss Christopher Columbus's historic landing in The Bahamas and more.

    Graycliff Hotel

    Our tour continues at the world famous Graycliff Resort which was built around the mansion of Capt, Graysmith who was a pirate who travelled the Bahamian waters during his life. Here we will discuss piracy in The Bahamas also have wine tasting, chocolate tasting and also visit the cigar company all at this location.

    National Art Gallery of The Bahamas

    The NAGB is the National Art Gallery of the Bahamas and houses the national collection of various artists from around the islands. These fine artwork are a prized possession of the country and add to the overall experience of the tour.

    John Watling's Distillery

    John Watling's Distillery is named after the pirate John Watling who made a stop in The Bahamas during his years of piracy in the Caribbean and Latin America. The distillery makes a wonderful product of aged rum w.hich is aged for either 2, 3, 5 or 6 years in old Jack Daniels Whiskey Barrels
