I welcome you to “Explore Dublin” Cead mile Failte, I'm Debora. I have lived in Dublin for fifteen years and the passion I have for its history and daily life has led me to perfect myself with qualifying exams from the Irish National Tourist Board Failte Ireland. I am a National Tourist Guide (white badge) and I founded "Explore Dublin" with the Mission of: "to offer Italian-speaking visitors the opportunity to get to know the wonderful city of Dublin and its enchanting surroundings. In Ireland the guide sector tourism is not regulated, anyone can improvise, even people who have just arrived in Dublin without any type of course. I am an approved guide and member of the ATGI Association of Guides in Ireland, and only work with approved guides and are advised to always check the credentials of those organizing the tours you book.
We will meet at the indicated time near the Spire , the steel tower located on O'Connell Street. Once reunited, we will begin our tour of Dublin , discovering the most important points of the city. Dublin will win you over!
In the company of an expert guide, we will get to know the Post Office, home to important historical events, the O'Connell Bridge , the Ha'Penny Bridge and the famous Temple Bar district.
Additionally, the city's medieval relics and Viking remains , Christ Church Cathedral and St. Patrick's Cathedral, the city's two most important places of worship.
After contemplating the exterior of Dublin Castle
Afterwards, we will pass through the famous, George Arcade Market Hall , where you can find collectibles, bars, restaurants and much more. Did you know that the original building was destroyed by fire in 1892? We will reveal all the details!
We'll finish the walk two and a half hours later at the Molly Malone statue , where we'll tell you about this emblematic Dublin figure. Until next time!
