Dalen, a teacher of history, local and passionate about his heritage and that of istria was just a gift. His English was amazing and comfortable to listen to the background stories he drew us into. There was lots of info upfront but thereafter we walked and the 2 hours went so quickly. He got it right, it’s a small important town of istria with a huge history but it’s all so compact. It worked. As with free walking tours I’ve used on my arrival somewhere new, I was instantly orientated and had a plan for my brief time there. Very happy thank you.

Absolutely outstanding walking tour. Dalen was so knowledgeable about the history of Pula and Croatia. I learnt so much I feel I could complete an examination on it and get Honours. 😂

Dalen is passionate about his job and the region of Istria, we found his tour to be very informative and interesting. Being a history teacher he provided lots of information we would not have received from a general guide. If he is available you won’t be disappointed
