Tour description

Yogyakarta, often referred to as Jogja, is a fascinating destination in Indonesia with a unique blend of cultural, historical, and natural attractions.  Overall, Yogyakarta provides a well-rounded travel experience, offering a perfect mix of cultural, historical, artistic, and natural attractions that cater to a wide range of interests.

We will begin the tour at Tugu Yogyakarta, the iconic landmark in the heart of the city to admire the historical significance of this monument, which represents the fight for independence. Then we will head towards Fort Vredeburg Museum, a Dutch colonial fort turned museum. Explore the exhibits that narrate the history of Indonesia's struggle for independence. The museum provides a comprehensive overview of Yogyakarta's role in the country's history. This museum is located in Malioboro street, or we call it "zero point".

From the museum, we will walk to Kraton Yogyakarta, the Sultan's Palace to explore the palace complex, including Bangsal Kesatriyan (the main audience hall), the museums, and the traditional Javanese architecture.
