'This Baeza, which they call the Andalusian Salamanca', described by Machado as 'a damp and cold, ramshackle and gloomy town, between Andalusian and Manchegan'. Just over 20 years ago, it managed to become the smallest World Heritage city in Spain.
Since the Bronze Age, civilization after civilization has been aware of the natural privilege of this city, which has led to it preserving a great cultural and monumental heritage as well as a very interesting history to this day.
The old town of Baeza is so astonishing that walking through its streets is like taking a journey back in time.
