Klaipeda Free Walking Tour- The lost city of Memel

Holiday photos are always a must, but memories is what stays with us. Every place that you visit has a story to tell - let me tell the story of oldest town in Lithuania and its role in a context of the global historical events. Together we will connect the past with the present whilst enjoying our time in historical old town.
The old town tour usually takes approximately 1h 30min or up to two-hours. We will visit the most iconic places in Klaipeda to discover how the city and the people who lived here have changed.

Please note: Regular tours at 5PM and 8PM tours are guaranteed with only if there are at least 3 people joining.
10am and 12pm tours are subject to availability and not guaranteed - only prepaid version is guaranteed.

Visit the Theater square and reveal the untold stories that the cobbled stone streets of Klaipeda hide. Also what role has Klaipeda region played prior to the WW2
Our tour will end at the Jonas Hill https://maps.app.goo.gl/XzCteztWiharnV4J8 where a panoramic view of the city view will allow us to understand the historical timeline of the city and the hardship that the locals lived through.

BokštasAt the stop of narrow old cobble-stone streets of Klaipeda we will discover why this city is so different from other Lithuanian cities and who were the people who have lived here thorough the centuries. A bronze sclupture "TOWER" will help us identify the remarkable and little know facts about the historical town.

Free tours don't have a fixed price. At the end, each person contributes to the guide the amount they consider fair based on their satisfaction. As a guideline, Guruwalk recommends between €15 and $50 per participant.
