Growing up in Guilin, I’ve always been surrounded by some of the most stunning landscapes in the world. Guilin's breathtaking views became a symbol of the ancient Orient in the eyes of the world. This tour is designed for travelers who want to experience Guilin like a local. We’ll start with a hike to the top of Chuanshan Park (free), where you’ll get a panoramic view of Guilin’s famous karst mountains and the city. It’s a peaceful spot, away from the crowds, perfect for soaking in the beauty of the landscape. Afterward, we’ll stop for lunch at a local spot to enjoy some traditional Guilin dishes, followed by a few snack gems you won’t find in guidebooks.
The adventure doesn’t stop there! We’ll take a break at a hidden coffee shop on the edge of the city (entrance fee: 30 yuan), nestled by a serene lake with mountain views. Then we head to our final stop: a dinner at a centuries-old wine cellar, tucked away inside a mountain cave. Here, you’ll experience authentic Chinese cuisine in a truly unique setting, making it the perfect end to our day together.
