I love Cape May and enjoy sharing our history and culture. I’ve taught French and English and have a background in the wine industry. I love travel and meeting people from all over the world.

Tour description

The theme of my tour is to give visitors a general overview of the highlights of the island while touching on a bit of history, architecture, nature, and fun spots for music and dining.

We’ll begin on the promenade overlooking the ocean where we often get lucky and see dolphins passing by our sandy, white beaches.

I’ll point out a good place for a fantastic Sunset and views of our lighthouse. We’ll then pass by the beautiful Congress Hall hotel  and discuss some presidential and Victorian history. On our way to Rotary Park, I’ll  show you the Washington St. Mall and it’s great shopping. In Rotary Park I’ll tell you a bit about Harriett Tubman’s contribution to Cape May and point out the museum dedicated to her.

We’ll continue on to the lovely historic section of town where you’ll see various types of Victorian architecture in both private homes and in our many bed and breakfasts.

We’ll finish up at our starting point and check out the shops and eateries along Beach Ave.
