Saigon After Dark – Ghosts, Power & The Godfather Walking Tour

From the initial booking the communication was great. I was kept up to date. The tour it self was super interesting. Checking out the underbelly of what the past looked like in the older district. Fascinating to learn how old saigon ticked with organised crime. If u are looking for a part of this city where the tourists don't go, this is your tour. 😊 thank u.

This was an interesting look into the back alleys of District 4 and some of HCM City/Saigon's seedier past. More about history and organized crime than ghosts, although it did end with a good ghost story.

Duc's amazing storytelling style is genuine and straightforward. There isn't any sugar coating on the information. Wr enjoyed the excitement and on edge feeling because we know that this is a rare opportunity to experience the hidden culture of Ho Chi Minh City. The fast pase walk just like we were chased by the local gangsters, we avoided the eye contact with the residents, duck through the narrow alleyway, but wr felt safe in the same time because other tour guide Kwan was on the watch right behind us the whole time. We felt we were in a movie set. If someone wants to experience something different and learned about the untold tales. This is the tour for you.

Nice and original tour, quite different from the others, with a good guide explaining tons of very interesting curiosities.

I enjoyed the walk, and I was actually the first and only customer on this first run of this newly developed tour, so it’s definitely still taking shape and finding its feet. It is an off the beaten path tour, and not focused on the normal tourist attractions, instead often taking back alleyways and streets away from the main tourist areas, getting a feel for the real Ho Chi Minh City and sometimes its underbelly. I was hoping for a tour like this, but it may not be for everyone and definitely not for people looking to see the sights. I enjoyed my guide, Duc. Thanks.
