Tour description
Taste of Sidney - old and new - a 2 hour relatively flat walk through Sidney by the Sea featuring historical stories and tastes of Sidney. Learn about how Sidney was established and continues to be the heart of the Saanich Peninsula. Our stops along the way will include:
- Tanner's Bookstore and Booktown
- Veterans Memorial
- Port of Sidney
- Shaw Centre for the Salish Sea
- Sidney Sculpture Walk
- Beacon Pier
- Glass Beach
- Bevan Pier
- Star Cinema
- Sidney Museum
PLUS a tasty treats from a variety of local vendors as we walk about 3km/2mi route around this small port town... come for a leisurely wander through the heart of Sidney by the Sea!
