Tour description

Kansas City! Famous for barbecue, fountains, jazz, and some pretty awesome professional sports teams!

On this tour, you’ll discover the vibrant murals in the Crossroads, walk past towering architecture in the Art Deco and French Beaux-Arts styles, and hear stories of gangsters, dress makers, and early American explorers.

Travel by trolley!!
This 2-hour experience combines approximately 1-mile of walking with riding the free streetcar to get us from place to place. Highlights along the route include an inside walkabout of Union Station, where a major gun battle occurred in 1933 between federal agents and a notorious mobster, leaving five dead.

Don’t miss this opportunity to explore and learn with KC’s original Guru Walk!

Please let your guide know, in advance, of any mobility concerns. This tour includes walking approximately 1-mile on sidewalks. There are several blocks with steep hills. The KC Streetcar is handicapped accessible.
* Pets, well-behaved and on a leash, are welcome.
