Hi! I’m Carmen, passionate about tourism, art, and fashion. I’ve been living in Milan for the past two years, working professionally in the tourism and fashion sectors, which has allowed me to get to know the city inside out and discover its most authentic corners. I’m an avid traveler — places like Thailand have taught me to appreciate different cultures and connect with people wherever I go. But I have a special love for Italy, and especially Milan, where I enjoy exploring its art, history, and iconic spots. I love sharing unique experiences with those exploring the city with me, combining interesting stories, curiosities, and my passion for fashion and local culture, to make every tour fun, enriching, and memorable. I’m also an animal lover, so I often include little insights about urban wildlife along the way.

Tour description

We will begin our journey by discovering the origins of Milan, from the early Celtic civilizations to its role in the Roman Empire.

Our first stop will be the Pinacoteca di Brera, one of the most important museums in the world and home to the Università di Belle Arti, where we will admire masterpieces and learn about the history of Milanese art.

We continue to the Castello Sforzesco, to talk about the Visconti, the most influential medieval family, and discover curiosities such as the origin of the Alfa Romeo logo.

Then we will arrive at Piazza Affari, famous for its modernity and controversy, ideal for photos, and the Duomo, an iconic symbol with secrets of its architecture and sculptures.

We will delve into fashion at the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, exploring the Milanese shopping tradition and curiosities of the city as a fashion capital.

We will visit the Teatro alla Scala, where we will discover lesser-known and darker stories of the opera world, and end at the old Hotel Regina, addressing World War II in Milan and the death of Mussolini.

We will conclude by reflecting on how Milan combines history, culture, and modernity, leaving visitors with a comprehensive view of the city.

Let's get started✨!
