Hi, I am an American married to a local. I am interested in religious and political history, especially the strange and wild stuff. Earlier in my life I hitchhiked alot, milked cows, and even taught at uni.

Tour description
On this 90-minute walking tour through the historic downtown, we will explore a medieval and modern city built not only on muddy soil but also by miracles, religious reformers, and enterprising merchants. During this tour I will also introduce you to some of the lesser known but colorful characters from the Dutch Golden Age and the 1960s. By the end of the tour I hope to have convinced you that our world was invented by the Dutch.
To learn more, join me for a tour. Our journey begins at the Het Lieverdje statue at the SPUI (a short walk from the Rokin metro stop) and ends at the Rembrandt House (a short walk to the Nieuwmarkt metro stop).
At the end of the tour, please consider showing your appreciation with some bills.
