I’m an architect and urban designer with over a decade of experience across India, Japan, and the Nordics. I love exploring how cities, architecture, and public spaces shape everyday life, and I enjoy sharing these stories with curious travellers. When I’m not designing, you’ll find me wandering local neighborhoods, enjoying cafes, and observing how people interact with their urban surroundings. I’m passionate about culture, food, and the subtle beauty of city life, especially through a fool's lens.(the explorer in tarot car draws :P)

Tour description
Step into Kallio, Helsinki’s hip, vibrant, and multicultural neighbourhood, where streets pulse with energy and every corner has a story. We start at Hakaniemi Market Hall, a charming historic brick building where locals grab coffee, pastries, and groceries , a window into everyday Helsinki life and the heartbeat of the neighbourhood.
Wander past Kallio Church, whose architecture reflects the working-class roots and resilient spirit of the area, then stretch your legs at Bear Park, a lively green space surrounded by creative streets. Explore Harju streets, alive with bars, local shops, and cultural quirks, and glimpse Kotiharju Sauna, a symbol of Finnish community traditions.
Step into Konepaja, a former industrial hub now a creative hotspot with restored brick buildings, studios, second-hand shops, and rooftop views — where history meets modern urban life. We finish at Siini Café by Töölönlahti lake, framed by old wooden houses, where you can relax, sip coffee, and soak in the neighbourhood’s freedom, creativity, and charm.
Along the way, I share stories of architecture, street life, and hidden gems, with tips for cafés, local food, and design finds. This is more than a walk, it’s a sensory journey through Kallio’s soul, from urban grit to serene waterfront calm.
Cost: Free! (Tips appreciated; recommended 20€–50€)
