Local perspective: As a daughter of Sarajevo, I will share real anecdotes and stories of resilience that you won't find in textbooks. I consider myself a "child of Spanish aid," since, thanks to the bonds forged during the war, I have a deep and personal connection to Catalonia and Spain that has stayed with me throughout my life. This personal experience allows me to tell you the story of my city with a sensitivity that unites our two peoples.

Itinerary:

We begin at the Vijećnica (Town Hall) and the House of Stubbornness. We will cross the Baščaršija bazaar, where the smell of coffee and embers mixes with the sound of copper artisans at the Sebilj fountain and the Morića Han.

At the Latin Bridge, site of the 1914 assassination, we'll experience history firsthand. We'll see the contrast between the Tašlihan and the Hotel Europa. Sarajevo is a city of coexistence: we'll visit the Orthodox and Catholic cathedrals, the Market, and the Jewish Museum. We'll conclude the tour at the Meeting of Cultures and the Beg Mosque.

How much does this tour cost?

Free tours don't have a fixed price. At the end, each person contributes to the guide the amount they consider fair based on their satisfaction. As a guideline, Guruwalk recommends between €15 and $50 per participant.
