This was a fantastic tour and one I'd highly recommend. I originally expected it to focus mainly on the Bosnian War, but our guide explained that she intentionally only touches on that part of Sarajevo's history a small amount because the city is so much more than its past conflict. I really appreciated that perspective. It made me realise I'd arrived with quite a narrow expectation, and the tour challenged that in the best possible way. Instead of focusing solely on the war, we learned about Sarajevo's rich culture, history and identity, which gave me a much deeper understanding and appreciation of the city. Right at the end of the tour, the heavens opened and it started to absolutely pour down with rain. With only two stops left, our guide gave the group the choice of whether to finish early or carry on. There was absolutely no pressure either way, and I really appreciated that. A few of us chose to continue, and despite the pouring rain, she happily carried on with the tour. That really summed up her dedication and made an already excellent experience even more memorable.

This was a great tour. The guide was really knowledgable , personable and interesting. We all really enjoyed it. He kept both the teenagers and adults engaged. The only issue was that the address link took us to the wrong place for the start of the walk.
