Free tour of La Magdalena and El Sardinero

The highlight of the tour will be the Magdalena Palace, an architectural gem from the early 20th century. We'll stroll around its grounds to admire its elegant design and the spectacular panoramic views it offers of the Cantabrian Sea. It is, without a doubt, the city's most recognizable symbol.

We will continue exploring the rest of the peninsula, where we will find the Royal Stables and the stunning Marine Park. This space, carved directly into the cliff face, is home to seals, penguins, and sea lions. We will also visit the Man and the Sea exhibition, where we will learn about the incredible transoceanic expeditions of the navigator Vital Alsar and his galleons.

After this, we'll walk towards El Sardinero, a historic seaside resort that flourished in the mid-19th century. Among golden sand beaches, we'll admire the splendor of the Gran Casino and the Gran Hotel, icons of the Belle Époque that still retain their aristocratic air.
