Uncover Olhão’s Moorish influences and distinctive architecture, hear about the courage and character of its fishing community, and discover remarkable episodes from its past — from the revolt against the French to the extraordinary voyage of the Bom Sucesso.

Along the way, meet some of Olhão’s most fascinating legendary figures, including Floripes and the mysterious Menino dos Olhos Grandes, and learn about the traditions and tales passed down through generations. The tour finishes at the iconic Olhão Markets, overlooking the beautiful Ria Formosa.

We are experts in the local heritage, traditions, and stories hidden among the narrow streets and typical facades of Olhão, and we share them with enthusiasm and pride with those who visit. We aim to showcase the city through an authentic and personal lens, far beyond the usual tourist itineraries. In "real life" we have very different professions from Tour Guide, nor do we have a degree in History... but we decided to dedicate part of our free time to this activity.
