Free tour of the Mysteries and Legends of Cologne

We'll meet outside the Church of the Holy Apostles, next to Neumarkt Square, to begin our walking tour of Cologne's mysteries and legends. Along the way, we'll discuss Cologne's miraculous water, the legend of Richmond and the climbing horses, the enigmatic Goblin Fountain, and more. We'll walk towards the Cathedral, where we'll learn the unofficial story of its construction, which involves none other than the devil. We'll end the tour on the banks of the Rhine with the mythical tale of the Rhine Siren, a creature whose irresistible melodies lured sailors to their doom on the treacherous waters of this river.

The entire tour will take an hour and a half. For organizational reasons and depending on the dates, the order of the stops described in the itinerary may vary.
