Galway, Cliffs of Moher & Connemara: 2-Day Combo Tour

Embark on a 2-day tour with an overnight stay, departing from Dublin. Discover the west of Ireland in the company of a guide and marvel at the natural beauty of Connemara, the picturesque town of Galway, and the breathtaking Cliffs of Moher.

You’ll leave Dublin and head across the country, admiring views such as the bogs of Allen in the midlands. Then it’s onward to the west of Ireland, where you’ll enjoy a tour of Connemara, taking in the sights of Lough Corrib, Maam Valley and the remote wilderness. Also visit either the charming village of Cong or the historic silver mines at Glengowla. Cong is home to Ashford Castle and famously the film location of Quiet Man, the blockbuster starring John Wayne and Maureen O'Hara. Glengowla is a show mines and traditional farm where you can enjoy demonstrations including sheepdogs.

From 1st November to 31st March, on the Connemara leg of this tour, we visit Cong every day. There will be no visits to Glengowla Mines during winter season.

From 1st April to 31st October, on the Connemara leg of this tour, we visit Glengowla on Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays. We visit Cong on Sundays and Mondays.

From here you’ll continue on to Galway, considered by many to be Ireland's most beautiful city and its party central. Your guide will find a nice pub down by Galway Bay, where you can enjoy traditional Irish music. A walking tour is available for those who wish to see more of the city.

On day 2 you'll marvel at the spectacular Cliffs of Moher and the moon-like landscapes of the Burren, and stop in Doolin, a charming seaside village that’s noted for traditional Irish music.
