Step into the heart of one of the world’s greatest museums and discover its most iconic treasures in just two hours. This small-group guided tour is designed to make the vast collection of The Met feel personal, approachable, and unforgettable—even if you’re short on time.
Skip the line and join an expert, storytelling guide as you explore the highlights of the museum’s 5,000 years of human creativity. From the towering Temple of Dendur and mysterious Egyptian mummies to exquisite Greek statues and masterpieces by Van Gogh, Monet, and Rodin—each stop is handpicked to inspire, surprise, and spark conversation.
Unlike typical tours, this experience goes beyond the labels. You’ll hear the fascinating stories, legends, and “museum gossip” behind the art—like why an Egyptian tomb was relocated to New York, or what Van Gogh’s brushstrokes reveal about his state of mind.
Group sizes are kept small (15 guests max), so your guide can tailor the tour to your interests and questions. Whether it’s your first visit or a return trip, this fast-paced, curated experience gives you the perfect introduction to the Met’s greatest hits—without feeling rushed or overwhelmed.
