- Children: Children (under 139cm/4ft 7in) must use a bike extension (tag-along/trailer)
- E-Bike Age: Minimum age to operate an E-Bike is 12 years old
- Guide's Discretion: A pre-departure test is conducted. The guide may deny participation (no refund) if a guest is unsuitable due to lack of ability or health concerns
- Infants: Infants (up to 20kg/44 lbs) ride free in a provided child seat
- Max Group Size: Limited to 8 guests per guide for personalization. We allow slight flexibility (1-2 extras) to keep all bookings together.
- Min. Participants: 4 guests required. Alternative date or full refund offered if the minimum is not met
- Riding Experience: A basic-medium cycling level is mandatory
- Route: 90% of this route follows the ancient Roman paving (basolato) of the Appian Way, where public car traffic is prohibited (resident access only). Only two brief road crossings are needed to navigate between the Appia Antica Regional Park, Aqueduct Park, Tor Fiscale, and Caffarella Parks
