Experience the magic of Scotland’s Highlands on this unforgettable full-day journey from Glasgow. Travel through landscapes steeped in history, natural beauty, and charm as you explore lochs, castles, and coastal towns.
Your adventure begins with a scenic drive along the banks of Loch Lomond, one of Scotland’s most iconic waterways. Stop in the picturesque village of Luss, where flower-filled cottages and a tranquil pier offer perfect photo opportunities. From here, cross into the Highlands and visit Inveraray, a charming 18th-century town on the shores of Loch Fyne. Take time to browse local shops or enjoy a treat from a traditional bakery.
Continue to Kilchurn Castle, a romantic ruin perched on the edge of Loch Awe, framed by rugged mountains, an ideal spot for stunning photographs. Next, arrive in Oban, the “Gateway to the Isles.” Explore at your own pace: savor fresh seafood by the harbor, climb McCaig’s Tower for panoramic views, or wander around local shops.
The journey then takes you to Glen Coe, one of Scotland’s most dramatic and storied valleys. Learn about its volcanic origins and the poignant history of the 1692 massacre while admiring its breathtaking scenery. Before returning to Glasgow, pause in Tyndrum for refreshments and one last glimpse of Highland beauty.
