This relaxing sightseeing tour takes you out of the busiest areas of the historic old town, through the hills that offer some of the most beautiful views of Florence. Starting from the city, you will ascend to the area of Piazzale Michelangelo, Florence's most famous panoramic terrace, where the city unfolds before your eyes in a picture-postcard setting.
Due to local regulations regarding access to the UNESCO historic area, golf carts cannot directly enter certain restricted areas, including Michelangelo Square and San Miniato al Monte. For this reason, the golf cart stops nearby, in the Piazzale Michelangelo area, for example at the Piccolo Belvedere, a quiet and picturesque vantage point with a stunning view of Florence.
From there, guests continue on foot for a short scenic stretch of about 100 meters to reach Piazzale Michelangelo and admire one of the city's most iconic views, with the dome of the Duomo, Palazzo Vecchio, the Arno River, and the historic rooftops of Florence.
The route can continue towards the area of San Miniato al Monte, one of the most fascinating and spiritual parts of the city. The Basilica of San Miniato, with its Romanesque façade, quiet atmosphere, and elevated position, is one of the most picturesque places for photographs and moments of contemplation.
The tour then continues through the elegant hills of Arcetri and Pian dei Giullari, an area loved over the centuries by artists, poets, and scholars such as Galileo Galilei.
