Madrid doesn't just feed you, it pulls you in. This small-group food tour winds through the city's most storied neighborhoods, from the grand plazas of the Old Town to the bookish backstreets of the Literary Quarter, pairing every step with something worth tasting.
You'll sample your way through five handpicked stops, each chosen for what it represents in Madrid's culinary story. Expect time underground in a remarkable wine cellar, a stop at one of the city's most beloved street food institutions, sizzling bites inside a century-old tavern, and a sweet finish that speaks to Spain's deeper relationship with cocoa. The route passes some of Madrid's great landmarks: the Royal Palace, the Plaza Mayor, the Santa Ana square, but this tour earns its keep through what's around the corners and behind the doors.
With a small group of no more than 12, there's room to linger, ask questions, and actually connect with the places you're visiting. Your guide brings the neighborhood to life with every stop. Come hungry, leave with a few good stories and a very good sense of what makes Madrid worth eating.
