NYC: Iconic Breakfast & Sites Tour

Join a 3-hour food tour through Midtown Manhattan and take in sites that should be on every “must see” list. Enjoy a morning tasting of iconic breakfast foods of NYC while learning about the history of the foods and flavors.

Start your day with a classic New York breakfast. We'll start with your choice of locally-roasted coffee, tea or other beverage at Gregory's, a successful NYC-based coffee shop.

Then we'll walk about a block to Toasties for a taste of a classic BEC (bacon, egg & cheese sandwich). Your guide will share the origins of this classic breakfast sandwich.

We'll walk to 5th Avenue and take in the majesty of St. Patrick's Cathedral. Then we'll explore Rockefeller Center learning about the achitecture, art and history and taking memorable photos at Radio City Music Hall, the skating rink, 30 Rock, and the Today Show plaza.

Then we'll taste the regional delicacy that is blueberry pancakes and real maple syrup in an authentic New York diner and learn how diners just like this one began.

Next we'll walk through the ultimate urban park, Bryant Park, and get familiar with how it came to be and notable historic events that took place here. Then get up close and personal with the NY Public Library lions as we take photos of the iconic facade and stone sculptures.

Then we'll admire the exterior of Grand Central Terminal hearing about its rich symbology, history, and what makes it so special.

Whet your appetite for the next tasting - iconic NYC bagels, served with unique cream cheese flavors and classic lox. Nothing beats a New York bagel!

Next we'll move into the interior of Grand Central Terminal to be awed by the scope and beauty of the Main Hall, and enjoy the phenomena of the Whispering Gallery.

We'll end with fresh, gourmet donuts of varying flavors from Doughnut Plant in Grand Central.
