Travel to Hiroshima and Miyajima on a guided tour. Depending on the option selected, begin your journey either from Tokyo with round-trip Shinkansen tickets included or meet your guide directly at Hiroshima Station. Enjoy a ferry ride to the picturesque island of Miyajima, known for its peaceful atmosphere and stunning natural beauty. The island is home to the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Itsukushima Shrine, whose iconic floating torii gate appears to rise from the water at high tide, creating one of Japan’s most famous and photogenic landscapes.
As you explore the island, you'll have the opportunity to stroll through charming streets, visit historic temples, and sample local specialties such as the famous Miyajima oysters and momiji manju, delicious maple leaf-shaped pastries. You'll also encounter friendly deer roaming freely around the island, adding a unique touch to your experience.
After your time on Miyajima, take the ferry back to the mainland and continue to Hiroshima. Visit the moving Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park, a place of profound historical significance dedicated to the victims of the 1945 atomic bombing. Here, you'll see important landmarks including the Peace Memorial and the Atomic Bomb Dome, while learning about the city's history, resilience, and enduring message of peace.

- If you have selected the option with round-trip Shinkansen tickets from Tokyo, please note that the indicated departure time is approximate and will be confirmed the day before the tour. Outbound tickets will be sent at 18:00 (JST) the day before departure, while return tickets will be provided on the day of the tour. The journey from Tokyo to Hiroshima is self-guided, and detailed travel instructions will be included in your booking confirmation. Upon arrival at Hiroshima Station, your guide will be waiting at the Shinkansenguchi Hiroba Bus Berth, holding an Amigo Tours sign.
