Join us for an exciting tour of the Statue of Liberty, the symbol of New York. You will disembark on Ellis Island to visit the immigration museum. Are you coming with us?
Our tour will begin at the stated time in front of the charming SeaGlass Carousel, in the heart of Battery Park. Once we have gathered, we will listen to a brief historical introduction about New York and the port area, and we will head towards the security check, which we will pass through with priority access.
At that point, we will board the official ferry operated by Statue City Cruises, the only one authorized to disembark on Liberty Island and Ellis Island. During the crossing, which lasts about 15–20 minutes, we will enjoy a splendid view of the Manhattan skyline and New York Harbor.
Once we arrive on Liberty Island, we will begin the guided visit outside the majestic Statue of Liberty. Here, we will discover the symbols hidden in its design and the profound meaning it has had for millions of immigrants.
Afterwards, we will take a second ferry that will take us to Ellis Island in about ten minutes, the historic gateway to the United States for millions of immigrants. Here, we will begin a guided visit of about 45 minutes, during which we will learn more about the history of American immigration through engaging stories, anecdotes, and explanations.
We will stop outside the Immigration Museum for a general introduction and then briefly explore some of the interior sections, immersing ourselves in the emotions and hopes of those who crossed the ocean in search of a new life.
The tour will end on Ellis Island after a total of about four hours, but you can decide whether to stay at the museum to continue your visit on your own or return to Battery Park on one of the next ferries.
