Before becoming a museum in 1793, the Louvre was one of the main residences of the kings of France. Located in the heart of Paris, it spans 73,000 m² and houses the world’s most extensive collection of artworks, covering over 9,000 years of history, from ancient civilizations to the 19th century. The collections are divided into eight departments: Egyptian Antiquities, Greek, Etruscan and Roman Antiquities, Near Eastern Antiquities, Islamic Art, Paintings, Sculptures, Decorative Arts.
Meet your guide at the Arc de Triomphe du Carrousel, just in front of the Louvre. With your reserved access, they will guide you straight to the museum’s masterpieces through a complete orientation tour.
Your itinerary includes the must-sees: the Mona Lisa painted by Leonardo da Vinci in 1506, the medieval foundations of the palace, ancient treasures such as the Venus de Milo and the Caryatids, a visit to the Etruscan collections, Pharaonic Egypt with the Seated Scribe and a mummy, the Apollo Gallery and its crown jewels, major French paintings like Liberty Leading the People, royal decorative arts and the apartments of Napoleon III, as well as the Richelieu Wing with its glorious French sculptures.

- Accessibility: Not suitable for people with reduced mobility or wheelchair users. Elevators are not available during the tour
- Experience details: Reserved entrance with a host (not a guided tour). The host will lead you to the Mona Lisa and other key artworks

- Opening hours: The Louvre closes at 6:00 PM (except on Fridays). Early closure on December 24th and 31st
- Visitor information: Large bags, strollers, and umbrellas must be left in the cloakroom. Exhibitions are not included in this tour
