Florence: 1.5-hour Santa Croce guided experience

During the experience, you will hear about the history of the main Franciscan church in Florence: stories about its foundation in the 13th century, as well as stories about its masterpieces and its tombs hosted in the church. Inside the church, your tour guide will show you the magnificent architectural features of the Gothic style, and you’ll admire Giotto’s frescoes, Bardi Chapel, Medici Chapel, Pazzi Chapel, and all the other masterpieces made by Donatello, Brunelleschi, and many other important painters. Don’t forget that Santa Croce Church is the “hall of fame” of Italian culture. Here, in this church, would rest some of the biggest Italian personalities, such as Michelangelo, Galileo, and Machiavelli. You will admire their tombs which are truly masterpieces.
