The Setúbal Peninsula sits forty minutes south of Lisbon and makes some of the country's most quietly brilliant wine: famous Moscatel de Setúbal, fresh Atlantic whites, and reds shaped by limestone and sea air.
We meet in central Lisbon mid-morning and drive south together. Three boutique family estates. Long tastings of 10 or more wines. A generous Portuguese lunch that takes its time. A walk through the vineyards, and a final glass with views over the rows.
The group stays small, so the day stays personal. You are hosted all day by founder Nicola or a regional specialist, alongside a handful of fellow wine lovers, and back in Lisbon by early evening, glass-warmed and unhurried.
