Join us for a full-day group adventure to Zakopane, Poland’s winter capital and a true gem nestled at the foot of the majestic Tatra Mountains. Discover the region’s unique culture, traditional architecture, and unforgettable mountain spirit – all in one incredible journey.
Our tour begins with a visit to a charming wooden village, where time seems to stand still. Wander among beautifully preserved wooden cottages, admired worldwide for their craftsmanship and recognized as part of Poland’s cultural heritage. Feel the atmosphere of old highland life and admire the distinctive Zakopane-style architecture that makes this region so special.
Next, treat your taste buds to one of the region’s most famous delicacies – Oscypek, the traditional smoked cheese made from sheep’s milk. You’ll have the opportunity to watch local artisans at work and taste this delicious symbol of the Tatra Mountains fresh from the fire.
As we reach Zakopane, our adventure continues with a visit to the Wielka Krokiew ski jump, one of the town’s most iconic landmarks and the pride of Polish winter sports. Then, we’ll stop at the charming wooden church in Jaszczurówka, a masterpiece of highland carpentry that perfectly showcases the beauty of local architecture.
No visit to Zakopane would be complete without taking the funicular railway to Gubałówka Mountain. From the top, enjoy breathtaking panoramic views of the Tatra peaks and the picturesque town below. Capture unforgettable photos and soak up the crisp mountain air before descending back to the center.
Finally, enjoy some free time on Krupówki Street, the vibrant heart of Zakopane. Explore local shops filled with regional products, savor highland specialties at traditional restaurants, or simply relax and take in the unique mountain atmosphere.
After an inspiring day full of culture, flavor, and natural beauty, we’ll return together to Kraków – with memories that will stay with you long after the journey ends.
