You shouldn’t leave Portugal without experiencing the magic of Sintra — and we’re here to make that happen!
Join us for a full-day journey through one of Portugal’s most enchanting destinations. Nestled in the forested hills just outside Lisbon, Sintra is a place of myths, romantic architecture, and fairy-tale palaces that have earned it a spot as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. From mystical parks and stunning landscapes to cobbled streets and historic charm, this tour blends nature, history, and culture into one unforgettable day.
Explore the heart of Sintra Our first stop is the charming old village of Sintra. You’ll enjoy a relaxed walking tour through its historic centre, taking in beautiful views of the Sintra mountains and passing by landmarks like the National Palace and the ancient Moorish Castle. Along the way, we’ll introduce you to local traditions — including a stop to try the famous travesseiro, a delicious puff pastry filled with almond cream that you simply have to taste.
Wander through the magical Pena Park and admire Pena Palace Next, we make our way to the lush and serene Pena Park — a forested wonderland filled with secret pathways, ponds, exotic trees, and breathtaking lookout points. The park surrounds the iconic Pena Palace, a colourful Romantic-era castle perched on the mountaintop. While entry to the palace interior is not included, you'll have plenty of time to admire and photograph its spectacular exterior and explore the surrounding gardens at your own pace. For those who wish, there’s an option to purchase tickets to enter the park and gardens.
Stand on the edge of the continent at Cabo da Roca After soaking up the charm of Sintra, we’ll take you to one of Portugal’s most impressive natural sights: Cabo da Roca, the westernmost point of mainland Europe. Here, dramatic cliffs plunge into the Atlantic Ocean, offering panoramic views, salty sea breeze, and a photo op you’ll never forget. It’s the perfect place to breathe in the raw beauty of Portugal’s coastline.
Scenic drive along the coast via Cascais and Estoril To finish the day in style, we’ll take a scenic drive along the coastline, passing through the elegant seaside towns of Cascais and Estoril. These spots are known for their beaches, beautiful villas, and laid-back charm. It's the ideal way to wind down your day, returning to Lisbon with a camera full of memories and a heart full of stories.
